Real estate law
Real estate is a focus of my civil-law practice. I advise businesses and individuals on letting, property purchases, construction work and ownership issues. The individual subject pages explain typical concerns, possible steps and documents needed for an initial review.

Private construction and architects’ law
Whether trades work, a new build or renovation, I review and draft works and construction contracts and represent your interests in variations, additional work, acceptance and payment disputes.
Defect claims require reliable evidence, appropriate deadlines and the right remedies. I assist clients and contractors with repair, self-remedy, advances and damages.
Architects’ contracts and professional liability
I address planning and site supervision duties, fees and agreed budgets. Technical findings and legal assessment are carefully coordinated.

I represent employees challenging dismissal, examining the reason, form, notice period and required works council involvement. The goal may be continued employment or a financially sensible agreement.
A dismissal protection claim generally has to be filed within three weeks of receiving written notice (section 4 KSchG). I also advise employees and employers on warnings, termination agreements, pay, references and employment contracts.

Disputes over purchases may concern agreed quality, performance or later-discovered defects. I assess contractual and statutory claims and represent buyers or sellers in pursuing or defending them.
This includes vehicle purchases and defects. Repair or replacement, rescission, price reduction or damages may be available depending on the contract, parties, vehicle condition and evidence. Actual rights require case-specific assessment.

My civil practice also includes accident compensation: liability, repair costs, loss of use and, where applicable, personal injury. I represent your interests against the other party and insurer.

I assess and pursue contractual and other civil claims, including works contracts, damages and outstanding debts, and defend against unfounded demands.
I litigate consistently and resolutely, with clear submissions, careful evidence assessment and engagement with the other side’s arguments. Pursuit and defence are equally necessary. Settlement is considered where it serves your objective and makes financial sense. My work may also include enforcement.
More on Claims and enforcementDrafting contracts and agreements
I draft contracts and agreements suited to your plans and actual processes. This preventive legal work aims to set out rights, duties and risks clearly before disputes arise.
This includes drafting and revising individual terms, supporting negotiations and structuring settlements. I consider how provisions work together and in practice, not just individual clauses.
More on Contract drafting and agreementsAssessing the facts in context
Sound legal analysis starts with complete facts. Contract questions may involve public-law requirements; financial disputes may also raise criminal issues. I therefore assess civil, public and criminal law connections.
I am particularly interested in complex questions spanning different disciplines. If additional specialisation is useful, I can refer you on request to suitable colleagues in my extensive professional network.

Do you support businesses with contracts and disputes?
Yes. I handle the civil-law matters described in my practice profile, particularly property agreements, sales and works contracts and payment claims. I review drafts and negotiating positions and represent your interests in pursuing or defending claims.
My customer has not paid. Is litigation immediately necessary?
Not always. First establish the contractual basis, due date, evidence and possible objections. Options may include a targeted demand, agreement, payment-order proceedings or litigation. Practical recoverability and the effort involved also inform the decision.
Do you defend debt-collection or damages claims?
Yes. I examine the underlying claim and whether interest or additional costs are recoverable. Payments, counterclaims and limitation may affect the assessment. A collection letter does not prove a debt, but court documents must not be ignored.
Do you handle sales contracts and vehicle defects?
Yes. I examine agreed characteristics, warranty provisions and communications after a defect appears. Whether businesses or consumers are involved also matters. Repair, withdrawal, price reduction and damages have different requirements; the approach must fit the facts.
Do you challenge employment dismissals?
Yes. I review the dismissal, receipt date and possible objections and discuss your objective. Make contact promptly because the deadline for bringing a claim is short. Representation may seek continued employment or an appropriate negotiated resolution.
Do you handle compensation claims after road accidents?
Yes. I assess liability, loss and objections from the other party or insurer. Depending on the case, this may concern repairs, loss of use, other property damage or personal injury. Clear documentation helps substantiate the recoverable items.
